Jason, it's worse than it looks. The radiator support is bent, and the front left chassis rail is slightly bent too. If we can get it back into shape, I will probably keep the EA. If it's too bent, I'll wreck it. At least if I keep it, I'll have a good excuse to fit thermos (since my clutch fan has a bent blade)

Max's car looks sick!

Are there any pics of Adam's car pre-accident? I wanna see how my old rims look on it.

Even post accident, it looks good. You basically have to point out the damage to know it's there.

dez think it's time for you to update that suspension, as this also affects breaking capability, and i'm not just taking the **** when i say this.

I was honestly going to do it. I was buying some suspension off EA2BA and we were planning to fit it on the last weekend of the month (The secret's well and truly out now). I might need to put it off for a bit longer though, because of this.

1) it wasn't 'stupid', it was an accident. Comments like that are ridiculous, but predictable from you ;p
2) the cruise wasn't unorganised, i made the map and directions as detailed as possible..

Thanks again for the attendence guys, glad people had a good time. p.s. what happened to the blue sapphire wagon after the maroondah reservoir ?

He had to go home, because he was having mates over to change the engine on his motorbike.

For the record, the map was incredibly detailed and very easy to follow.
any wrong turns were generally due to people missing street signs.
and i didnt do the map, so no bias :P

thanks to mrcrackers for the effort put into the route etc, some great roads and driving was had.

It doesn't matter how well 'organised' the cruises are, alot of the e-series guys just don't care/pay enough attention. I've been on enough cruises to see what happens. People speed, treat it as a race to get from point to point. If everyone was paying the correct amount of attention behind the wheel of their motor car and taking it easy, things like this wouldn't happen. That's the simple fact.

Looks like a nice cruise though, glad you all had fun.

You wanna say that about some other people's cars as well? Cos we all own a fairly average build of car, and do what we can with them.
Pretty lame comment mate.

Lay off him Yagz, everyone makes mistakes.

Seems like you guys had a good time, what car did Obriza get? I swear I saw his old car in the pics somewhere.

Dezza PM me, i'll get you onto the panel beater that fixed my car he works for Phil Munday's and does jobs on the side at fairly good prices.

I aint having a go at everyone I am having a go at you yags. You make it sound like your car is a stand out and is better than everyone else's and them you claim that is the actions similiar to dezza's that turn you away from cruises. Who cares. Driving on a normal day or in a cruise you have the same amount of risk oh an accident happening as long as you drive right yourself thats the main thing.

Discussion Ended.
Now Back on topic!

Obriza now owns an EF XR6 Supercharged. He took both cars today his mate drove his old one!

Just to clarify, and this will be the last post about it, I'd like you to show me where I've said this? I'd just prefer for my car not to be in a situation where I have people who aren't paying attention to the road, close around me, going in the same direction. It's my personal opinion, and I have never said my car is better than anyone elses, nor do I think it is for one second!

Other people can vouch (Jarred for one) that me and him stay back in cruises and wait for the majority to leave, because we don't want to be caught up in the lead pack, for the reasons we have seen here today.

End of story now, and back on topic.

Great cruise! Ali and I had lots of fun...getting lost countless times! We didnt get home till after 10! Thanks chris for organising the cruise and making up the maps, we didnt have a clue where we were so for us it was hard to use them! LOL!

Yags I dont think you know how easy it is for this to happen, its quite easy to have a glance at a road sign for instance and look up and see the car in front of you has suddenly stopped and your gaining ground quickly. Just because Dezza was being smart with his finger dosent make any difference, same thing would have happened if he was looking at the petrol prices.

Some nice looking and sounding cars there today, including the 'fully hectic' pimped out ride of GMKILA's!! haha sometimes I mistaked you guys for commodore people by the way you's were just 'plonked' in your seats!!! LOL!! Haha its funny when I just checked out the photos and every photo of this car includes an arm out the window!

I took a few photos, more will come later. I also took some footage but the sound quality is really bad, I'll post them anyway.

Heres the pics.

Terrific cruise - credit to the organisers on good routes and good locations / meet points - some spirited driving along the Black Spur made for much enjoyment

Looks like a nice cruise though, glad you all had fun.

You wanna say that about some other people's cars as well? Cos we all own a fairly average build of car, and do what we can with them.
Pretty lame comment mate.
I wasn't hooning, and I usually pay a LOT of attention. People always tell me I look really serious behind the wheel, because I usually focus hard. I just let my guard slip for a moment, and that's where the mistake was made. Nobody were speeding when this happened. As Braden said, the finger had nothing to do with it. I just saw a familiar car driving in the opposite direction, and briefly looked over. That second I looked over was the second everyone braked in front of me.
