Why is it so hard to believe that FPV is outselling HSV?
i agree 100%.
Whether it is 100 cars they registered or 5 they still will be sold anyway. I am sure HSV do the same thing. How many commodores (brand new) are sitting in dealers for ages, but they're considered a sale. I think some people need to get a grip and accept the fact that FPV finally out sold HSV. With only 3 models too and 600cc less :P

jeez thats a caining!

Just about every car is getting spanked, why is the feista doing so badly, it kills the barina in every aspect!

There are so many suprises there, I didn't know we sold so many F trucks, and explorers; who the heck buys them!

And how do they move Cruzes and Combo's? Holden must be ****ed ove rthe crewman sales aswell. Alot of investment in that car and its not selling that well at all.

With Fiesta it's a combination of supply, price and marketing. And the initial forcast was for about 400 units a month, so it's doing ok.

In defense of Focus too, I think the launch of the new model at MMS and supply of current model vehicles may have been drying up as the new model ramp up gains momentum and this would have effected sales.

But there are discounts on the Current Focus... which has never really done that well here in regards to sales figures compared to the Astra. Also, in regards to Fiesta.... my mate just bought a Barina... parents were able to get an AWESOME price on it... $13990+ORC, but they managed to get better then that....

You would think that ford would develop a two door coupe to compete with the monaro and FPV would want to contest the GTO and GTS sales. If they did then they could possibly race them.

If Holden hadn't been able to secure the 18,000 estimated sales to the USA of Monaro as the Pontiac GTO I doubt that it would have happened at all (And as it is they don't sell that well and they're exporting to other markets to take up the slack).

Considering that 19,559 Mustangs were sold in April in the USA (which is more for 1 car than entire market leader Toyota's sales for the month in Australia), what use would they have for a 2 door Falcon.

As much as I'd like to see one myself, even I agree when Ford say there just isn't a sensible business case to support such a niche model.

considering they are the 3rd most popular car in OZ that slogan is sh*t and obviously is not effective. I like the slogan 'lion tamer' but it's not used often enough
