I remember that, Ford was going to do a millennium Falcon special edition too.
No points for guessing why it never happened.

Theres an EA TSS Falcon for sale at the moment in TAS on Marketplace:

https://www.facebook.com/commerce/li...are_attachment

https://www.shannons.com.au/club/for...ea-tss-falcon/

Has a supercharger and some weird rim setup with two tyres mounted to each rim.

They've got $50K on it

I dont know how you price that thing but its fricken cool.

Bit like a T series, really cool car but not a huge market outside Ford nuts. Poor EA will need a ford nutter to buy it.

2 different cars although both appear to have the same type of supercharger

A bit like beta vs VHS, I think.
Hard to make a revolutionary (boom, boom) change in a big industry.
I remember a Lotus (maybe Esprit, or similar) with quad JJD’s on the back.

These were a real precursor to run-flats!

vbvbvb088: I saw the 120Y in Brunswick St, Fitzroy North, so it is probably the one you saw (I didn't get the number plate).

Yesterday I saw a Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo, looking very nice in black and full reg, personalised plate. (Wasn't sure what the car was at first). I took a quick photo of the front and was going to have a better look when I walked back but it was gone.

Just noticed, looking at my photo of the Cordia, it's left hand drive.

Not just the camera?
Is the number plate reversed?

It's LHD. I was in a slight hurry when I walked past it on the left and didn't notice the steering wheel position at the time, then stopped a little bit away from the car and took the photo from the front. The personalised B/W plates start with 'USA' so I guess it has been privately imported from there and it's not an original Mitsubishi import to Oz. (If I had any clue about posting an image here I would.)

Today. This really is a blast from the [distant] past: Austin A95 Westminster SIX. Full VIC reg B/W plates A95. Original-looking (no fake patina) grey paint with a red flash down each side. (It's not that long ago that one of the British classic car mags did a profile on these. I think there was also a four-cylinder.)

There's a really nice old couple here who daily a couple of rodded 34' 5 window Fords. (look like mid 70s full rego conversions)
The ol girl is often seen at the local nursery loading up the dick seat with perennials. Once spotted them both at Bunnings side by side, the ol guys canary yellow one was jump starting the other.

Always get a wave and a smile where ever they go.
