G'Day All.
I just Just signed up,I thought I say a few things about myself... Firstly I have been on your site a few times for some general Info and to check out and get some Ideas off your rides... Secondly I have been an avid Car enthuisiest for over 30 years, Ihave owned quite a few OZZY Muscle cars over the years, an XB GT Coupe, XE Fairmont witha 5.8, A 5.8 XC,XB GT lookalike, 351, shaker, @ XF Interior (Don't ask me why)and I just sold my 300 KW SS 50- Sorry for swearing on your Forum. . Unfortunatetly that had to make way for my current ride a 93 Ford Telstar, which did not come to a good start, after getting it for $2500 with no rego, it went fine, for about 6 months until the engine decided to go, thinking it was only a blown head gasket, a new (recoed heads were fitted, still no go, engine came out and was replaced with a second hand unit, now I do not plan for any mods on this current beast, I i will be in the market for a new project in the not so far future, I will be looking into something like an XB GT Coupe, XY Sedan, or any thing that catches my attention,I might go back for a Hxxdxxn, may be an XUI with a Ls1, I don't know yet, Iam also an owner of a nice Black and sliver Toyota 4 runner Turbo Diesal. But for now I an currently advertising some of the Telstar parts in your Classifieds. Thanks for having me as Member, Talk to you all soon. Welcome to AFF matey im sure you will enjoy it here. I occasionaly jump on LS1 forums when I have questions for the Red Mob. You may think im being a little bias as I currently drive a Ford. But as far as forums go I think this offers alot more info and the large majority of it is helpfull stuff. Im a car nut also so im right with you on the not getting into who's better Ford vs Holden. :

Time for a proper hello from me, I've posted enough on here! My name's Steve and I've very recently purchased a turbo BF:
See Show N Shine Before that I had an EA some may have seen earlier in the show and shine pranged cars thread which is now being borrowed by my old man. Thinking of selling it, wish I could move the MP3 player across to the BF easily :( Back on my Ps I drove a nice XF - tank of a thing which was recently rear ended and written off. I wasn't driving but it was still in my name >_> Anyway it's damn late and I have to go to work to pay for the new car so have a good one you lot |

I didn't realise this thread existed. Oh well...
Hello, my current user name is Laser '81 because I drive a 1981 Ford KA Laser. I've been reading this forum awhile after I became aware that a new Falcon codenamed "Orion" was coming but haven't registered until the beginning of this month, (August 2008). It's been less than a month since a joined AFF but I already have submitted 63 posts. Cheers! |

G'Day all, I'm Jimmy and I've been on the forums for a couple of months now, but mostly haven't looked too much outside the bseries section till recently. Stumbled across this thread just now...
I own a Shockwave 05 BF XR6 which I have to fight the missus for, and a Regency 98 AU Fairmont, which is my daily driver when I'm not away at work (I'm a sparky at an underground mine near Geraldton, but I live in Perth). Done some minor mods to the (still under warranty) XR6, with more planned. I was thinking of selling the AU, but recently changed my mind and decided to see if I can't make a nice classy ride out of it. I plan to keep it sleeper outside, with some serious work inside and underneath. Hopefully I'll see some of you around... plenty of 'Gropers on here Cheers

Hi all,
I'm Jeff. I've been a member since late 2006 but only recently started coming in everyday and participating in the threads/discussions. I hope that's ok. The best car I ever owned was a Ford Laser. It was a white 1994 KHII Horizon 1.6 5 speed hatch. It had great economy and I just couldn't kill it. (It used to be a driving school car.) I inherited it off my Dad who bought it with his driving school business in 96. It still holds the record as 'the car I've owned for the longest time'. (3 yrs) I still regret getting rid of it. :( It was traded in on a 94 SE Capri XR2 for my sister. : I'm hoping to be able to find out heaps of info about Fords as well as being involved in discussions etc. Am also hoping to be able to go along to a 'meet' one day out in the real world. Thanks for reading.

Hi there fellow Ford people. Though I currently do not own a vehicle bearing a blue oval (wait hear me out!), I have previously owned an AU11 Black manual Xr6 ute, a Narooma Blue automatic XR8 ute and my show piece and much missed Monsoon Blue manual XR8 ute. I left the Ford family a couple of years ago to see what all the rage was about with the young folk and their fast turbo 6's (couldn't afford a home grown one). I currently own a 260+rwkw or 350rwhp R33 Skyline Coupe (which I am hoping to pass on to a new owner soon).
I am now looking to get back what I passed over 2 - 3 years ogo....a very tidy AUXR8 manual ute. I am dearly wanting to be sitting behind the wheel of my next and hopfully last XR8 ute. Anyway that's me and where I'm at, cheers. |

Hello I am also new. Got a new Holden VT as a company car when it first came out. When I left that job I bought a mustang and have owned classic cars ever since. When the FG F6 came out I decided to say goodbye to vintage cars and hello to turbo motoring, so I joined this forum to find out a little more. Nice place to talk cars.

Hello everybody,
Recently purchased my first ford, an AU I XR8 (ex cop car). Car is in pretty good nick and will be looked after as it will be my daily driver for a bit, so no major mods. Hope to learn a few things about blue oval cars. |
