Oh okay, sweet. I read on the Whirlpool forums, and someone had posted these features yesterday for the ST, but didn't provide a source..

Ok well here is some news I just found the New Focus ST will be on sale in November price $38,290 plus on road .

Very good equipment level.

Smartkey entry/start
Rain sensing wipers
Auto headlamps
Electrochromatic rear view mirror
Reverse park assist with camera and sensors.

The list goes on and on.

If that’s true, the Focus ST would have to have the best specification / price ratio of any of the cars it competes with. Seriously, bloody good bang for your buck there. Though when you consider German sourced petrol Titanium retails for just shy of $34K. Add the Sports Executive Pack at $2.3K and we’re only talking $2 difference, less an automatic, for the ST. Could be true, but surely they’d price it higher, or drop some equipment?

yep...it's basically a Titanium with half a sports exec pack, 2.0L ecoboost motor, but no park assist or Adaptive cruise/sunroof. Keyless smart fob standard, rear view camera, Partial Leather Recaros (not heated), Tyre pressure sensors, Sat Nav, SYNC, Enhanced torque vectoring, torque steer compensation...and a stack more...

as you said, absolutely fantastic spec level for the money!! People will still want to pay rock bottom for them though....

Mate that is mind blowing specifications! Such a pity they’re only saying 200 this year, looks like it’ll eat the Golf GTI alive on the road, and specification wise, it just slaughters the competition. Thanks for all the info you’re posting, great stuff!
