Rev28k, like everything else, it comes down to practice and/or how often you employ the techniques you learn. I imagine you were taught threshold braking.
Years ago there was a commercial dvd getting around that demonstrated threshold braking could stop a car faster than relying on ABS. If I knew where to look I probably still have it. |

Did 1 when I was 17 on my L's theough the SDT at willowbank through the school. I repeated Grade 12 the next year, after I was on my "P's" I did it again. Always intended to do the advanced. I will be doing the advanced one through them next year. I'm planning on doing mountains of them.
Knowledge is power, & while I know alot of things that help me in everyday driving, & emergency situations, I will always be interested in learning more. However, whats the use in all that knowledge if you have no idea how to apply it? So the more I can do the better. You have to instinctively know how to apply it without thinking about it, otherwise it's useless. Because when you need it for real, you dont have time to think about it. So yes, done a couple. Will be doing more when the time is available.
