But the whole 'engine in the cabin' thing is a little scary...

Wonder how the boys at the local RTA would take that one!!! hahaha

Now thats gotta move, quote ad:

"220kw+, weighs 100kg GVM".... talk about power to weight.

Think I'd rather keep dreaming for a DeTomaso Pantera, something purpose built to handle a 351, that looks horn, and constantly needs electrical faults and mystery fires sorted out. That to me is a real supercar. Saw a pic of one on the net with twin turbos hanging down behind the rear tyres. drool

I have got to agree with you. Posts like 20 times in the same thread. Has been a member for 3 weeks and already done 160 posts. 90% of them rubbish.

And how are you going to get a G220 for 10k mate??? Why would you get a I6 over the windsor? Let me guess, because a ex-taxi BA will beat a 302...... _

I had the series 1 version of this car as my very first car registered in my name. It was registed for a total of 18months in my name but owned it for 5 years as I couldnt bring myself to sell it. It survied fires, jumps, crashes (on purpose), being airborn and being sunk in a dam, but it just kept going. Plus the fact that in QLD you can legally put up to a 350 chev motor in it. We did put a blown 302 in to a spare I had just for shits and giggles and to thrash around the bush

Love the idea of this thread. Some really good finds too.

I would offer $10 k on this.

I bought one brand new back in '99. not the best example, but the idea was only to spend $10k.http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...157&__Qpb=true

I would get that as well. One of my favourite falcons built. Especially the latter series 2's that ended up with the 220kws.
