It's an interesting place to visit. Plenty of space for people who love walking. You can even walk the old trotting track.

What I think is a really nice war memorial in Onslow in the Pilbara region of WA, while on a driving holiday.


Then the satellite tracking station in Carnarvon, this was used in tracking the Apollo mission landing on the moon. Really cool museum inside with a lot of the original equipment.

Had to drive over it last week for a project in Carterton and back over it on Thursday for one in the Te Urewera. Last week was a slow trip back as the fog and rain had set in and only 10m visibility near the top.
