Well when I found this and thought it would spark a bit of interest I didn't realise how much it would spark and how sensitive some people are lol

My first car was a 65 stang bought at the ripe old age of 20. I still have it and my second car, a proton buzz box. Get too worried about leaving the stang in logan car parks.

That further reinforces my first point.

But when it came to their current car, almost one in four Australians bought a new car while one in six chose a used car.
Well, if you don't buy a new car, it has to be a used car. There isn't an in between is there?

So, 25% bought new, 17% used. What did the other 58% buy? Or is it that only 42% of Australians actually have a car?

Hey, my first car was VK Commie. Might not have been my second car, but I now have a Falcon!

PS The first transport ever owned was a near new ZZR250 when in school.

I really like the class war thing and the way you objectively articulate your argument. Since reading your post, it's like....i dunno, i've had a sudden realisation that I really am upper class because I drive a Falcon ute (still under warranty, just, which puts me into a slightly better niche of the upper class sector). Keep it coming.
