Now I am angry.

I changed my tips before the round started...however it mustn't have registered them. I would have got 5 tips instead of my measly 3.

Lucky though, because I was going to drop out of the competition because I couldn't be stuffed doing it this year, however after only getting 3 bloody tips...I am mad. I have to save face after that so I will stay in.

Well done everyone. It's good to be on top.

A bit disappointing to see so few people taking part though.

Good luck next round.

I'm extremely happy to read that we have plenty of Bombers supporters on here. It make me feel oh so much better about the mighty BLUES 4 point win last night. What a cracker!!!!

On the down side, I was up to 0230 this morning watching it on free-to-air footy, ACT style. I'm looking to move back to Victoria asap :

Well...that was a very enjoyable round in both AFL and NRL tipping. Good to be on top of both competitions.

The only downer was that Hawthorn lost....and it was freezing at the ground watching us lose.

You are clearly tipping with you head and not your heart if you leading the competition and are a Hawthorn supporter. I've already chalked them up for 0 wins this year. :

It would have taken you back to those days when you would freeze at Waverley. I suppose Hawthorn were winning a few back then so it didn't matter as much.

It is nice to see the AFL games over the past couple of weeks have been really close and competitive (apart from games involving Richmond and Hawthorn) and the NRL are turning up thrashings. It really warms my heart on those cold Canberra nights/mornings when watching games on 4 hour delay.

Sorry guys, I didn't realise I wasn't looking at the actual leaderboard the other day...premature celebrations of leading both comps.

I'm only 1 behind on each though now. :P

not sure if people's last names should be posted on a public forum, especially when so many people use their first name at the end of posts.....

Post 92 has both first and last names in it...so it didn't really matter what I wrote, the names had already been released.

Hehe I got 6 tips...in both AFL and NRL.

I only missed out on Collingwood and Richmond in the AFL....I deliberately picked Sydney to beat Brisbane because they always perform well against them...however I must have accidently tipped Adelaide to win, I don't remember tipping them.

We played to a plan, and that plan was devised by very smart coaching. It was great to watch.

This is the reason I became a member this year....our young kids are so exciting!
