Thumbs up God of War 3

I rarely use my PS3 to play games (maybe twice a month) but just got God of War 3 today! Seriously if you have a PS3 you should so get this. Best game on PS3.

Addictive, yes.

Frustrating though!!!!

It's the only racing game I get angry in....It's definatly interesting keeping the Zonda R on track in top gear on Nurburgring. And one tiny mistake like going slightly off the racing line and hitting a bump really puts you off.

Namely the first left hander on road america...go a beez johnson too far to the left of the racing line under brakes and there is a nice undulation in the road which will see you spearing off 9/10 times.

Thats next on my list of games to buy. The previous two versions were awesome games and i've been waiting for the 3rd since the second!

I just bought Final Fantasy XIII and this game is just INCREDIBLE!! There's a lot less running around like in previous games although it is still present(you need to anyway to build up your strength etc) but there is so many MORE cut scenes! And the graphics, characters, monsters, scenery and the script and story itself is just amazing! Best game i've played in a very long time - probably since Final Fantasy VII

I'm not very far into it yet either but it continues to amaze me how good the cut scenes are and there is so many! It really brakes up alot of the repetetiveness that some of the FF games get with travelling to and from places and it builds the story line even more every time

Couldn't agree more! Just wish I had a tad more time to play it!

GOW3...I'll be getting it! After finishing Dantes Inferno, I've got a taste for hack and slash...and GOW2 was awesome so this will be a must have!

It is frustrating i know, i got an invitational for a lap at the ring with the Veyron, that was hard enough to keep on the track.
Currently have a modded S3, GT500 (can even hear the whine of the blower ) and an R35

Played the beta on PS3, loathed it. Unsure of final since I was never going to buy it on PS3.

I'd suggest if you have a beefy enough machine you'd be better off getting it for PC. Would likely be cheaper, too.

Yeah i got Final Fantasy 13 too. JB Hi-Fi has 3 for 1 trade-ins, so I traded 6 pretty old games that weren't on their excluded list for Final Fantasy 13 and God of War 3 so that I didn't have to fork out any $$ for them.

Seriously the graphics of God of War 3 are sooo good. The way the character climbs and jumps and swings is really cool.

I'd had Final Fantasy 13 just over a week. Cutscenes are awesome. Storyline is very good. For lack of a better word, I'm up to the "level" after the one surrounded by ice where Snow is trying to save Sarah with a little axe haha.

Resistance is not bad I've got the first one, havent finished it yet so theres quite a few different missions, tank driving etc, Its not as good as Call of Duty obviously.

I got my copy for the PS3 for $65 (limited edition one with a few add ons)
My initially thoughts after playing it for only a very limited time I think the sinlge player stuff is good (have played enough to check variety of missions, however the previous Bad company was good for that - especailly as you get further into the game)

As for online I prefer MW2 at this stage - cant quite work out why maybe its just my inexperience with badcompany 2 online (havent mastered I even used the vehicles yet) I think I prefer the weapons on MW2.

I presonally believe (at this stage that MW2) is better than Badcompany 2

As I'm sure most of your are aware, SA Attorney General Michael Atkinson has resigned, so chances are we may see a change in the R18+ classification for games debate.

ripper game, playing in full HD with surround sound and it's incredible. Brilliant visuals and almost everthing can be destroyed. Online is really good though it takes a while to level up.

Campaign is excellent too. Getting MW2 and the resistance series soon.

I thought it was good, but thought it could have been better - it was great blowing things up - putting holes in walls etc. It didnt take long to finish the game - and it sort of ended in a wierd way.

Havent played it much online as I prefer MW2 - let us know how you compare MW2 to Battlefield.

For those that are fans of the True Crime games there's a 3rd one coming out later in the year which is cross platform.

It'll be set in Hong Kong, and you're a undercover cop infiltrating the Triads.

Well I am behind the times, juts finished MW and want MW2, playing MW online now and then is cool.

On and off with Heavy Rain, its starting to get better.

GOW3 is on my list, and sounds like I will need to look at Bad Company now aswell!

I'm not entirely sure what to expect from MW2. Does the multiplayer work better than it does on pc? I'm sure everthing else will be impressive.

I'm up to chapter 11.

Just been levelling....the difficulty of the game increases A LOT when you get to chapter 11. SO much so that random encounters just flog you!

Some of the randoms have over 500,000hp...and some are close to the 1,000,000hp mark!
