Ok no worries. They must be deceptively low in that case because from the pictures they look to have decent ground clearance considering the ST front bumper isnt the lowest to start with

Ive got it fitted to mine, as long as your car isn't lowered you'll be right as the front is still very high. $200 sounds about right, mine was $250 delivered for me :-)

I joined Phil with the resonator removal today, sounds a lot raspier with no noticeable drone at all. Coupled with the unleashed tune it is sounding quite good.

I wouldn't have said raspier, it just sounds nice, like a subtle catback kinda thing

Raspy!! well probably the best term I could come up with. Stock there is no noticeable noise at all to me, resonator removal makes it sounds so much better and "throatier". There you go, another term that might raise another question. You're most welcome for a blast in mine Phil

USA recall, but may extend to euro built models.

Report Receipt Date: AUG 01, 2013
NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V335000

Component(s): EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Potential Number of Units Affected: 6,308
Vehicle Model Year(s) Make Model: 2012-2013 FORD FOCUS
Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company

SUMMARY:
Ford is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Focus BEV vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, manufactured September 15, 2011, through May 6, 2013; and model year 2013 Focus ST vehicles equipped with High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, manufactured February 16, 2012, through May 7, 2013. Due to a wiring incompatability, the front side marker lamps may not function. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

CONSEQUENCE:
Without the proper illumination of the side maker lamps, the vehicle may be less visible in night time conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

REMEDY:
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will modify the headlamp assembly wiring, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in mid-August 2013. Owners may contact the Ford customer relationship center at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's recall number is 13C04.

NOTES:
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Do we even have the same 'side marker lamps' the US use?

A marker lamp is usually place closed to the extremities of a vehicle. The lamp you are thinking of is the 'turn lamp' which activates with steering angle.
I'll check tonight if the Aussie spec have the marker lamp and if it operates.

No, we don't get them over here - they are an American thing only thank goodness.

Just like those fugly reflectors at the side of the light...

The US headlights are unique to that market only.

If we have learnt anything from the motor mount TSB it's that the USDM is different to all others
