I only wanted one to collect, got that now, any more and I'll do the good thing and give them away. You and rik seem the most in need.

Thanks mate...I'll see how I go.
Don't give them away. Cover your costs at least, which would be around 5-6 bucks, which is fair to pay.

Meh. To me a few bucks is too small an amount of money to stress over.
I just don't like seeing true enthusiasts suffering due to greed.

I see myself as a fan more than a 'true' enthusiast :P
Compared to some people here, I fail.
But regardless, more than happy to compensate

Well if anyone can help me out with an XB I'd be much appreciative.

I'll even pay $5 for it, plus any postage if you're not in Adelaide and can't meet up for the transaction!

I'm really at the stage where I need one for my collection but have just about given hope of finding one on the pegs :(

Thanks mate, much appreciated

Its just hard to find them when as soon as they're put on the shelf, they're snapped up straight away by people who grab all the ones that are there. But I understand the love people have for them, its the people who buy them purely to put on eBay who have a laxative effect on me!

I looked on Ebay...I promise you that I will give it away before I even think about selling it on Ebay. I don't want it because it be worth something.
I love XBs and XCs especially, and I love yellow...it was a car I really love.

It is just frustrating that people like to corner a market.

Personally speaking, I don't care about the value of the car and I would love for Mattel to re-release the vehicle, saturating the market and thereby making the values on Ebay drop. Bye bye profit.

You had people buying a 427 and garaging it in the hope it will increase in value.
However I am of the opinion that it should be enjoyed by driving it, and that is the same attitude I have with this Hot Wheels. I just wanted one.

I highly appreciate the help, Inferno.
In the off-chance that I find some myself, I will let people here know.
Pay it forward...

I loved hot wheels as a kid and after hearing they released an XB falcon model I jumped at the chance to get back into collecting hot wheels. Spent an hour looking through Kmart and couldn't find an XB, did get lots of weird looks from parents though lol. Ended up with a handful of mustangs and a delorean instead

I finish my uni exams today so I think I'll spend tomorrow trekking around Perth trying to find an XB, also got my 2010 Hot Wheels poster from Mattel today. Delivered free of charge right to my doorstep, and I only sent them an email on the 2nd of june, very impressed.

Few shots of my new GT40 model I got for my
birthday, a VX commodore V8 supercar, got that for Chrissy 2001, my XB hotwheels, and the total of my collection so far.

I spent the whole morning trekking around Perth SOR checking out Hot Wheels stockists, still have yet to find an XB but on the plus side I got a Bugatti Veyron and found out there's a Toys R Us in Perth

Here's a pic(bad quality but you get the idea) of my 2010 collection so far -

Nice collection by the way. I should get some updated photos of mine, there's heaps more now since the first lot of photos.

Plus I've got a few "doubles" now, bought them to liberate them from my packets, they sit nicely on top of my PC on my desk here in front of my TS50 model

As I said on the phone when you called, and just to clarify for everyone, the TS50 is NOT a Hot Wheels product, its about double/2.5x the size of a Hot Wheels car and in its own little display case thing. Silver T1 TS50. But it does look good sitting behind Hot Wheels cars!

Just grabbed the box for a looky, it says "Paradise Garage 1:43". Has Tickford & FTE By Ford logos on the box. Underneath it has the "Official Licensed Product, Ford Motor Company" seal on it.

So not a Biante, but if there is a Biante one, you best believe I'm gonna try find one for myself!!! Picked this one up on special, $20 from Collectable Kaos a couple of years back. Car is silver.

Hmm...this could be interpreted in many ways...

Well, I got the Falcon in the mail that you sent me...as mentioned in the PMs, I highly appreciate the gesture.

If it isn't that, then I'm not sure. I sold *that* instrument years ago
