...yes I have driven it a fair bit of late...Does need a tune up though so I have been taking it easy. Jack did manage to get the keys off me yesterday and took it for a drive... :

Just under 5 weeks to Echuca... :

DON'T DO IT.She won't give you the keys back!
Coll is a terrible influence. She showed some of the
girls at work how to check their oil and change a tyre.
Can't take her anywhere :evil3:

I will have a quiet word in her ear Col...okay..maybe not so quiet...

I was scared to drive the XB the first time, after I had a go though...there was no stopping me. They are big cars!

I now think I know where 90% of all the bolts are in her too...I have had to replace most of them!! Definitely know where all the wires go. Been studying the wiring diagrams for weeks!

The centre console was a custom built one that we picked up ages ago...we just keep modifying it! I had intended to finish a new one for Echuca, but won't have the time to get it done now.

As for the carpet...you could vacuum that thing all day and still not get all the dirt and white bits off it. My thinking is..we have gone this far with it...may as well go the rest of the way! Bank account is looking really sad...may as well make it scream!

Got the car back from Pedders Ferntree Gully today.

Big thanks to Euan for doing a great job on her. Wouldnt trust the car to anyone else! :

I am going to take a break from the car for the next few days. She gets dyno'd on Wednesday...dont think I will touch it again till after that.

Got a really busy schedule on workwise...Totally buggered up 4hrs work last night (the stuff I get paid to do!) doing other things that were needed for the club. I don't normally mind, but last night was just a disaster...my concentration is out the window!!

Just need to rest up a bit now, get some energy and the enthusiasm back...and then will fit all her bling! :

P.S. Big thanks to Bearman for your help last night. Your the best Craig!

did your motor come from mackay if so it used to be mine in an xe. it only has about 10000 or less km on it and was in top condition. i recently did the heads new valves, guides, comp cams springs but no hardened seats. the box was real nice too but the speedo cog is stripped. it ran 13.7s in xe. those pipes were real tight in xe they may have been xb ones

I would be scared too!. Maybe Col shoud change his name to "Max Power"

Looking foward to seeing yours and Colin's coupes in a few weeks...Gonna be a great weekend!!

Not alot to report at the moment with the coupe. The dyno wasnt able to be completed on Wednesday as we have yet more issues...not major ones, just enough of an issue to slow things down :( We have now replaced the parts the guys werent happy with and it will go on the dyno just before Echuca.

She still doesnt have the interior finished and back to together but it will happen over the next few weeks....well it kinda has too, otherwise car wont be finished for Echuca and that just is not an option!

I have been driving her though...and LOVING IT!!

Love ya Pat.

I will give Heather a call today..been ages since we last spoke on the phone.

As for the car, well Jack and I bought some electric seat bases, but they make the seats too high...Guess we now go to plan B.

Yep, sure do. I had xf bases on the cobra seats (thinner than the orginal seats) and my head hit the roof, with no hood lining ( and im short!)

Yeah...seat bases have come out...Was a dream having electric seats in the old girl but Jack kept hitting his head! Was good for me though...I could finally see over the bonnet!

Jack took her for a test drive today.

Here is a video - > Video

She sounds pretty good :

We have more issues with it...of course!! The tailshaft has been taken in for balancing. We need to replace the axle U joint flange..Hopefully 3rd times a charm!

Lookin great. Had the tail shaft balanced on mine before it all went back together. Had all sorts of shakes and vibrations before, but now it's smooth all the way though the rpm's and speed, every little bit helps.

Spotted nice TF. My daughter has a TF which is now in the shed up on blocks and all covered up. :

Mate !!! It was so tempting But I want to stay in good with the neighbours.
Besides with the hoon laws here in Melbourne its just not worth it.
I can just picture Cols reaction as the coupe gets taken away to the impound yard. :SaiyanSmi
