So far I think I've spent around:
$3000 on car
$800 reg + insurance
$200 exhaust
$220 roof respray (next thursday)
$180 service n check n stuff
$200 on radiator/heater hoses n crap ( in 2 or so weeks yet)
$270 Clarion sub
$280 Pioneer deck
$90 Pioneer speakers
$170 Alpine amp

Bout $5500 so far... damn

Still looking to spend $500 on another amp n wiring, $150 extractors (2nd hand), another set of wheels for motorsport purposes.. hehehehe

Yeh it adds up quick.... I;ve only had it for a month n a half

Plus probably $50 a week on fuel.

Ive brought my xr6 for $8000 about 7 months ago and have spent about 10,000 on it and its still slow so clearly most of that hasn't been spent on the engine now that i think about it its not really that good looking either hmmm the only solution to this is to spend more money honestly its crazy but after reading this thread its made me feel better im not alone with my sickness lmao

I'm in the same boat, or ship we should call it to fit all us money spending monsters on!
Every time I save a bit of money I end up buying something more expensive for the car! It'll never stop either, I have no idea how I'm going to afford to buy a house!

In the last month I've spent about $700 - $800 on the car which includes:

$120 - Front lip spoiler
Under $200 - Respray both bumpers and side moulds
$110 - Black number plates
$100 - 3.5" Dump exhaust tip
$228 - Pedders sports ryder shocks

And thats not including petrol!

Ive spent about 10grand on mine, it doesnt go very far at all, rims, suspension, brakes, stereo and a few small driveline upgrades and there goes a fair bit of your money.
I try to save, but then the car breaks and it goes back to $0 :(

Tip- dont spend a heap on ur car then only have it insured for market value, incase u right off your car, like I did! Ive lost approx 3.5-4 grand due to a market value payout so if you spend alot on mods its worthwhile to spend the extra on agreed value insurance!

$20 000 + and still counting! That’s just 2 full re-sprays first change of color (blue print) second due to an accident not my fault but the blend job they done was less than satisfactory so full rub down and start again & full body kit with BA XR8 boss bonnet bulge $10 000, engine re-build with chrome almost everything $4000 turbo setup still to come, Haltech ECU installed and tuned $3000, new 17inc wheels then getting them polished $1700, Diff upgrade to LSD and ratio change and re-build $1100, Interior - SAAS bucket seats front & re-foamed rear seats custon balck/blue with head rests, new vinyl dash $2000 still unfinished I think you get the picture!!

$259 10.4ich lcd touch screen
$133 digital tv tuner
$300 hi flow cat and engine pipe mod
$100 (out of pocket) 19 ich mags and tyres

$50 boot lid
$150 ELGT boot spoiler
$20 clear side indicators
$550 paint and misc paint related stuff
$40 seat covers
$240 pioneer subs
$79 2 channel amp
$60 amp wiring kit
$70 cruise buttons
