Can't say I have heard about this one. But will be looking in the near future for a new phone. But having said that, its hard to look over the iphone just for the shear number of accessories and availability of those accessories for the iphone. An example of this where I got caught out was when the ipod first went to like 30gb I went for a toshiba gigabeat which was about the same price at the time. I had to order a silcone skin for it from the UK

Its big downfall is it still runs symbian.
Look at the N900, that has Maemo, a much faster OS

Agreed Ive heard that This phone will be final nseries that will using symbian on it, nokia have said they will be moving to Meego for future nseries phones.

im after a new phone to put my 3 plan sim into, needs to have a slide out qwerty keyboard, bluetooth, camera, loudspeaker thats it...

Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 is roughly same dimensions as an Apple iPhone running Android 1.6 soon to be updatable to 2.1/2 in the coming months. However, not being an Apple product is more compatible with wide range of devices and applications.

Im getting the samsung galaxy s

4" version similiar to that and the iphone just better in almost everyway, and you dont have to own an apple product thank christ

and its already running andriod 2.1

I have been asking around today and apparently The Nokia n8 is getting released by Optus/Crazy Johns tomorrow , i read this from Whirlpool fourms listed above , so i rang 5 Crazy Johns in my area and put my name down and my choice of Color which is Blue so can't wait to get my hands on this phone, i don't care what everyone thinks of this phone ive been reading all about this phone ever since it got announced i was thinking of getting iphone4 but once i saw this ****** Apple i know this phone will smashed by reviews becuase sybian operating system which i don't look into much detail , imo this will be the best Nokia ever since the n95 its got everything you could ever want, when i do get this phone i will be a massive learning curve for me, will be 1st touchscreen phone since all my past phones have keypad based.

I was going to say never get an N97 as my mrs mini version has been nothing but dramas. I have not yet tried upgrading the firmware but. Might try it now.
