Default Eastlink Run, Sunday 15th June

Thanks to everyone who came along today for the eastlink run. There were quite a few car clubs, which gave us a bit to look at.
Waiting was our only downside... having to check-in with credentails at 10am, only to not start driving until 12 was a bit of a downer, but what amazed me was the amount of people that simply wanted to wander down for a look along the way- the springval rd interchange was very huge !!! But going through that tunnelled area meant we got hear GRNKPR's car.... :evil3:
To those that came, your certificates will be sent in the next couple of weeks.

I wasn't quick enough to grab a pic of the "mini" hotel that is near Greens rd... me thinks Jack and Sean would need to hire a room on the 1st, 2nd and possibly the 3rd floors.. :hihi:

It was a great day, a nice new road, and not having to worry about speeding fines....

The cars looked great with many getting a final clean before the run. With all the a waiting there was a lot of spare time....

Was a good day had by all with a huge variety of cars involved in the cavalcade from Rutherford Rd to Ringwood. Pity they ran out of milk for the coffee at the other end so we thought that the pub was the next best thing - must keep you liquids up!!!! Although there were a heap of activities to do at the other end it was best to stay indoors for a bit out of the cold :

We done to all who turned up as this was a very unique part of history to participate in and thanks to Eastlink for inviting the car clubs along for the day even if there was a bit of a wait.

Hey Guys, I have received certificates from Eastlink for recognition of your Support & Participation in The Official Car Parade at the Eastlink Road Show Community Open Day. For those of you who attended I will bring the certificates to Winton this weekend and then to the the General Meeting on Tuesday.
