Default power window

The drivers side power window in my 2dor LR has just died. Has anyone had a problem like this? Not sure whether I can just change the motor or I have to buy the regulator as a whole, does anyone know?

Memory is dim, but I pretty sure I had this problem early on.
I seem to recall it was some corrosion in the connection to the motor in the door.
If you're handy, it may be worth pulling the door card off and cleaning the connections first. If you're unsure on how to do that, invest in a Haynes Manual (4167?). It will cost you the same price as half and hours labour at your local Ford Stealer!!! Good investment
