I reckon unless you're a perfect fit for them theyd be a royal PITA to drive in.
Was on Ebay earlier and found a set of BA XR seats with modified rails to suit AU's, they didnt look too bad.

At $600, you could get your current ones retrimmed for around that, including side bolsters etc
