For those customers living in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, we are proud to announce that you can now have you Shockworks kit installed and the car aligned at Prodrive in Campbellfield. You can drop of the car at the FPR reception and have a coffee while checking out the FPR team working on the V8 supercars or even buy a new FPR T shirt. The car will then be taken to the Prodrive workshop and the kit installed by the great team I worked with during the development of the FPV vehicles. These guy's are the best at what they do and know the Ford suspension better then anyone.
The cost for installing the kit by the Prodrive professionals is $220 with the option of a wheel alignment and reset for $100 so for $320 you get the Prodrive team to fit and align your car with the very best equipment. Cheers Brett |

Hey GTP,
They are definitely worth getting put in mate! Just makes the hole car feel "planted" if that makes any sense :-)

Hi Guy's,
The guys at Prodrive are have sent me an offer too good to refuse haha. For the next three cars, they are offering free installation of the Shockworks coilover kit and maybe a little surprise at the end but have been sworn to secrecy!! If you are in the Western suburbs and are looking to get the Shockworks damper kit for your Falcon, you can call or PM me with 3 alternative times that are good for you to have the dampers installed. I will then call Prodrive and see whats the best time out of the three for them and then confirm the date with you for the install. You can then sit down and enjoy the FPR area and watch the race team working on the cars while the kit is being professionally installed and aligned. We are now working together to increase our performance product range with some very exciting things for the mighty Falcon in the future. Cheers Brett |

Well, all three sets with the free install offer from prodrive have been taken. Prodrive will be still performing the installs from now on and will still have some surprises for the next ten customers. Thanks for all the interest and we will be working closely with Prodrive to produce new and exciting products for the FPV range. Cheers Brett |

Hello Guys,
I was fortunate enough to have my BF along with my Father's FG GTP get the Shockworks Prodrive experience on Monday. I haven't done much driving as yet but from what I have I am very impressed. I was really concerned that the car would suffer with a harsher ride but honestly it feels stock but with a sharper response if that makes sense. The car now defies it size and feels smaller lighter and more nimble. The grip around corners is huge and turning in at much sharper angles with ease. I look forward to more driving over the weekend . Also of note if at all you are contemplating modifying your handling of your FPV please do as it transforms the car the way it should have come from the factory as these guys have really done the R&D on developing something specific for our cars and not something straight off the shelf and it really shows And last and I mean by no means less how can you not get these installed at Prodive if you reside in Victoria or don't mine a long drive from the other states. They offer their expertise in installing these dampers where the GT was originally developed need I say more. These top technicians know these cars like the back of their hand and put their magical touch on making your FPV dance like never before. Also any Ford fan cannot pass up the opportunity to see the FPR workshop what a great experience. Thanks Brett and the team at Prodive |

Hey Brett
Will PRODRIVE be your proxy agents for rebuilding the shocks as well when they get a bit tired and need some TLC - or will you still be doing this at your "workshop". |

We will however be doing all the damper builds and tuning at Shockworks as we have always done. We have spent thousands on the factory equipment and tooling to be able to do this efficiently. Cheers Brett |

Hi.
I was one of the lucky three to have my new Shockworks dampers fitted buy the guys at prodrive last thursday. Im very fussy when it comes to having people work on my car. But what can i say the Prodrive team down their are so very professional in everyway and made me feel at ease leaving them with my car.The staff in the FPR office make you feel at home while waiting, no race cars to look at. But had to make sure i kept my wallet in my pocket. It was also nice to meet Brett on the day and what a wealth of knowlage he is when it comes to dampers. I let Brett the guys at Prodrive set the hight and and hardness of the car. It feel great the way they have set it up. To be honest i probably won't ever change the settings on them, as i think the people that know the cars the best have set them up the best. If you have the spare cash i can hight recommend. It took me a lot of investigating and tossing up on what coilovers to get and even if i should get them. but i'v made the right decision. Couldn't be happier with work and care from the guys at Prodrive

Hi Gerard,
I somehow missed your message so sorry for the delay. Dampers are still being installed at prodrive to customers living in the western suburbs or anyone wanting to get the full treatment including alignment. We are developing parts for the Ford together and will post up soon some new things to help the Falcon. Prodrive are also making available ex cop XR6T's from NSW with a host of upgrades including the Shockworks kit and other parts. The cars ECU and hardware are tuned by the team at Prodrive. Cheers |

Hey Brett
You should include an official R Spec badge with every Shock works Kit installed at Prodrive....... it is after all a kit designed by the guys that designed the stuff in the 1st place ...... |

We actually, we designed the whole kit here at Shockworks and all the tuning was performed around the Mt Dandenong ranges. It is also where I did tuning on much of the FPV range as well as the Wilwood loop around the back of melbourne airport. The badge sounds good Bluey but many of our customers cars are in showroom condition so may not want to stick anything on the body. I will talk to the team and see what they think at prodrive. Cheers Brett |

Was just being cheeky about the R spec badge... I know its all designed in house by Shockworks - but you were involved in a lot of the work on the B series and R Spec suspension work and the association now with Pro Drive almost makes an R Spec badge quite logical. On the B series - the R Spec badging basically meant revalved shocks. If you can get your hands on some genuine R Spec badges ( B series ) - I'll take one. You did after all fit my set up as well - right. So in my eyes , my B series GT is now an R spec......ha ha. |
