Hi all,

Im looking to do a tweeter & guages install into the A pillars on my LS ... but i have no idea how to get them off.

After a bit of a go, its starting to look like a dash out job..is this the case?

Take the rubber from around the door seal. You should see how they are clipped into the frame.

I'm being a smart , but to remove your A pillar, you'll need one of the following:

Gas ax,
Hydrologic assisted cutters, or
large angle grinder

Simply remove the windscreen and make a cut where the A pillar meets the front guard, and another where the A pillar meets the roof. Remove.

Alternatively, you could remove the trim on the interior of the A pillar as described in the post above.
