Default Copying V8 races to an iPad-how?

Hi all,

Sitting on the bus just about everyone seems to be watching videos they've downloaded onto iPads or whatever. While I have no real interest in watching TV on the bus, occasionally I'd like to watch some V8 races but how do I do it? Can they be downloaded anywhere or copied from my hard disk recorder?

Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers
Geoff

Apple is rather limited in that way. Everything needs to be bought and downloaded from iTunes. If you had a Samsung or something similar, then you could download stuff from the internet as they can play nearly all formats.

Copy the show from the hard disk to your PC or Mac.

Get a copy of the free program called Handbrake.

Start it up, pick the show you want to convert, let it rip. Then drag the file into iTunes.

Handbrake is also very good at converting DVDs to MP4 for use in your ipad.

I used to do the handbrake thing but eventually purchase cinexplayer, for the few bucks it cost its worth it as you don't have to muck about converting.

It's still not as easy as an Android device but you plug your iPad into you PC and fire up iTunes, click on your device and select Apps, scroll thru the Apps until you find Cinexplayer and drag/drop your .mkv, Avi etc file into it from your PC's drive (I'm assuming you know how to get the shows) and your away.

On Android devices, use the freebie VLC player. Plug it into PC, browse it and locate the movies folder, drag/drop files into this folder and your away.
