Default Moffat Confirms Fpv Power Message In New Tvc

Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) will debut its new television commercial, this weekend during the V8 Supercar Clipsal 500 telecast.

Featuring FPV Ambassador, four- time Bathurst winner and four- time Australian Touring Car Champion Allan Moffat, the 30-second commercial revolves around the powerful engine note of the all-new supercharged Boss 335kW GT.

Filmed on location at the Ford Proving Ground in Victoria, the commercial highlights the enormous performance and power capabilities of FPV’s current product range, as Moffat declares the vehicle ‘the most powerful Aussie V8 he has ever driven.’

The TVC, produced by advertising agency Wilson Everard will premiere Sunday 20th March during the Seven Network’s coverage of the V8 Supercar Championship Series.

Excellent news. Don't get to see to many FPV ads on TV.
I wonder if he has driven the 351 Bathurst addition FPV are testing in Sweden? That should be even further impressive if it comes to light.

Munners

Wouldn't be in the race ... "XY GTHO Phase III 370 - 390 bhp (276 -291 kW) at 5400 rpm"

Even BF F6's were turning out 300FWKW and these GT 335's are way over their advertised 335FWKW rating.

If only Ford itself could make such an add. When was the last Falcon add? When did you ever here Ford boast about the Falcon? (other manufacturers boast about their cars... even when they're crap)

I think you missed the follow up article where FPV confirmed it was a standard GT with induction temperature radiators hidden indside the front wheel arch for increasing or decreasing intake temp before the throttle body, simply because of the icy conditions. Think of it as a fancy alternative to th vynil covers most people place over the radiator to make 'warm' the engine in sub zero weather. Like Ice road truckers.

The rumour was these were supercharger intercoolers but with them fully exposed to the front wheel I give them a life expectency of about 2sec. Or 0.5sec of you drive down a dirt road.
