Anyone installed the Ford roof racks?
I’ve got a pair and went to install them on the weekend. The instructions say to screw them into the screw holes on the roof, under the black trim. Well there ain’t no screw holes, only sheet metal….at least on my 07 LT |

i wondered about that too, I pulled the trims off mine to see what was underneath...I haven't got any advice, but I'd be keen to see how you go.

It isn't metal under the trim, it's a sealing compound that's been painted. I used a Stanley knife to cut through it and found the screw hole underneath. See the attached pic. The pink is the sealing compound.
