Default removing the wings

I got given some tickford wings from my brother (3 of them) and wasn't going to put them on the car but did (its a au2 forte). Anyway I don't really like them and its probably a bad idea been a forte and wan't to remove them. Iv removed the OHC Intech badge off the fender already.

The thing is I want to remove the one off the boot for sure but im not to sure about the fender as it might look a bit bare.

Maybe just a bit of metho will see it gone?

Noooo Not on a Forte!!!!!!

Flinty will kill you!

But seriously, hairdryer or a bit of heat to wings should see them come straight off without any hassles

Got the old hair dryer out that removed the badge fairly easy but it heated the paint up a bit. Im not sure what to do with the fender yet though

Series one xr's are preety good there isn't really anything wrong with the series just the series 1 forte looked yuck and the small brake issue.

Im still deciding if i should remove the tickford wings off the fender... hmmm

The back looks alot nicer without them ricing it up.

I wouldnt use metho on a painted finish. Hairdryer is a good option, if youve got a really small flat headed screwdriver and a steady hand you can prise it off from one end and then just peel it off, although i wouldnt recommend doing it that way as it may chip the paint. I did it cos i didnt really care if the paint chipped or not (its stuffed anyway), and luckily it didnt leave a mark. Just a good scrub with eucalyptus oil to remove the traces of the glue.

that it did. Well, actually it was all a bit of fun until, for no reason, it was suggested that AU1's were only worth burning.

The only part of an AU1 that needs burning is the Forte whale teeth grill.

I think the whole "burning" of anything may just be a bit too much. How about a nice, politically correct "replacing"? :

Less burning

More on the should I remove them from the fenders?

I think it might look a bit bare without them so im not too sure. Though the one on the boot is gone.

Use fishing line to remove the badge, and goo remover to get rid of the rest...

lol, add the words Forte, tickford badges, burning AU's, T3's and BA's (all mentioned at some stage above) and you have enough fuel to fire any mods interest I think.
