Default 2008 LT Focus Vibration

Hi All,

I have a 2008 LT Focus manual with 130k, at about 40kph a vibration is noticeable through the car. It varies with road speed but not RPM so i'm pretty sure it's not the standard engine mount issue. Also the noise associated seems to be coming from the rear. What else could it be? Drive shafts? Rear wheel bearings? Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Pretty sure, had new tyres 10k ago with different wheels as well. Issue was/is still present. Has progressively gotten worse.

check that the front bearing hubs are not failing by seeing if the front wheel have play when jacked up You can do the same with the rear wheel bearings Push top and bottom of the wheel.

Do you have vibrations at rest? i.e. does mirror wobble? I have vibes at rest and at certain speeds and it turned out to be engine mounts, namely the big bugger on the driver's side.

I changed myself with an Ebay cheapie, but problem came back after only a couple of months. Now have three new OEM mounts and it's great. Been a few years now.
