Yes it is sadly true. Founder of Summernats, the biggest car show in the country with a few spin offs.

It brings in a huge amount of people and $$$ despite all the haters.

A top bloke. I had nothing to do with him in the car world, but ran into him several times in something else we were involved with. The last time I saw him was a few years ago and he was still the same friendly guy I remembered. I know he had financial challenges after summernats was sold, but i believe he managed to pay everyone off and still keep his chev.
