Default LS Focus - Trouble starting once a year

As above, I have this problem where by I stop, turn off the engine and duck into a deli to pick up some milk. Go back in to start but to find the car wont start after attempting like 5 times. It cranks but just wont turn over completely... This literally happens once or twice a year and notice during summer...

When the car "was" under warranty, I did tell ford, but of course it would never happen in front of them as it is very intermittent.

Anyone have similar issues? Wait a few minutes and it will start like nothing happened.

Yep, but more like once a month... Find I have to give it a stomp on the gas as I turn the key and she is ok... Exactly as you describe, only when restarting while warm!

They all do it. Just turn the key and wait about 3 seconds like a diesel or floor it, ours has always done it, mildly annoying but not worth worrying about.
Our 2006 has done 120000 and hasnt had a thing go wrong with it not even a blown bulb.

Yeah, can't say I've worried about it or bothered getting it checked whilst being serviced!
