the 427 is nearly the same length as the 5.4-liter V8, and 70 lb lighter. Unlike the high-deck V10 currently offered in Ford's heavy-duty light trucks, this engine fits anywhere the Modular V8 does. The smallest displacement version, one of the original engines built, displaces 351 in.3, and fits neatly under the hood of a Mustang test car.

I'd love the '427 concept' V10 engine, supercharged & intercooled in my ED. lol Dream on! :rolleyes:

I have long dreamed of putting a Hilux turbodiesel into an EA. Imagine the towing ability and fuel economy.

A Lexus LS430 engine/gearbox in an E series would be neat also.

And finally a full non-incandescent conversion... all lighting replaced with LED or HID. That is at least realistic..

an EA with a 460 big block with a 1071 twin screw blower with 2 deamon 1000hp carbs sitting onto it. And about 500hp shot of NOS. Should see a 6 - 7 sec pass
