That would be nice with a supercharged Boss 290 under the bonnet.

Leah's (my partner), friend bought that, but sold it about a year later to james scarlett. Howard not that long ago sold his Fairlane "Rock" too. Most guys sell their cars to fund their next big project.
It is a great price for that magna, and if i didnt have other priorities it would be hard not to splurge. (read: get a loan)

At that price & with a total sale of 1 it's sure to outsell the 380.
Was/is an incredibly well built custom.

Mr Astill eventually sold that Fairlane to Dave Ritchie (who also owns the Hilliers old pro street XP) who is now in jail. Not sure where the cars are

$40 large isnt too bad. Its still a car u could only trailer around though. I think McBeth is in love with his all aussie all alloy big block. It was in the Commodore, then the Magna..

i was talking to kerry (tikfd6) about it last night...

it'd be classed as an ICV (individually constructed vehicle), much like a cobra kit car or a hot rod., so yes, it would very much be registerable..

it has none of the magna's chassis, suspension or drivetrain, since its got a tube chassis and suspension.... the only thing magna about it is the panels.

all you'd have to do is make sure it complies with reg requirements, and passes a rwc...lol

I actually really like this magna.. it's insane the amount of work and level of detail gone into it.. and I normally hate magnas (owned 2 both were lemons)..

Put a decent engine in it, and replace anything with the word "Sony" on it.. and you got yourself one of the top show cars in aus atm
