Default distributor

Hi, I tried to take my distributor cap off today to clean the rotor button and the contacts inside the cap, but because i am on blood thinning tablets my right arm just blew up with red welts, does any member know of an easy way to take the cap off.........97 el 4.0ltr..........thanks

You have to remove the airbox from the car first. Makes the job a little easier.

thanks brenx i will have another look but after today my right arm is completly red with busted blood vesials, i think i may go to an auto elect. .........thank you
