Default Crow Cams and springs

Hey guys

Just a question about crow stuff. Has anyone here had any problems with their valve springs. A mate has a fairly worked VR Commodore Ute. Has broken 2 sets on crow springs now. First set were recalled late 2003 n he got his direct from crow mid 2004 so they replaced em free.

Dunno whats gunna happen with this set though. But just wondering as crow have a farily good name i thought if anyone else has had problems.

Thanks
Matt

Asking the obvious, did the installer test all the springs before installation? check all installed heights and so forth?

how close were they to coilbind?

yeah springs came from very reputable place in bendigo.

The springs r meant to be able to take .7" lift.

The cam is only pushin it to .526 or sumfin.
