My favorite part was when the crew cheif goes "you cant come in, im eating ice cream"

This was never my favorite part until i was racing motorbikes and said i needed to come into rip the back mudguard off and copped that exact phrase.

... don't know what else to say here... I liked it when I was 13 because I was 13 and I wanted to be a racing driver. I'm no longer 13, and whilst I still want to be a racing driver I am old enough to know that I won't be.

And in a freak admission of insanity, I had the misfortune of buying it from the $5 bin at Godknowswhere about a year ago. Watched it, felt guilty about watching a movie that not even Robert Duvall could save, spent most of the 90-odd minutes howling with laughter at how bad it was, and duly recycled it on eBay for a buck.

frd906, you are either very very sad or have balls of steel for posting this up..!

***EDIT***

In a fitting display of self-deprication (seemed a good fit to the OP in this thread), I seem to have had a brain lapse... I didn't eBay it. I just 'phoned my wife to see if I still have it in the DVD collection, and I'm ashamed to say that she confirmed it's sitting up at the back of the DVD drawer...

First person to PM me their name and mailing address will have it mailed to them, free of charge, no questions asked, nothing to pay, no warranty implied.

I WANT IT OUT OF MY HOUSE.

***EDIT***

oh come on, it's not that bad. i seem to remember some nice scenes with a skantley clad Nicole Kidman.

If that doesnt take your fancy, if you look close enough you may see Dick Johnson racing in one of the races.
