Guys, if you want a great hotel, stay at the Tavelodge Bankstown. Car parking is under the building with security. But it shares the carpark with the Sports Club. Been staying there for years, and never had an issue with the parking. The hotel is above the club, so you have several restraunt's, bistro's, sports bar, pokies etc etc etc. Rates are reasonable.

http://www.bankstownsports.com.au/

It's only 10 - 15 minutes from the racecourse.

just had a chat with a different organiser & he said that pre entry isn't required unless we go as a club entry, we need 10 cars min for a club entry. entry is $20 either way.

if we enter on the day as long as we arrive together we can park together & it should be possable to use the marque if we park some cars under it, have to be there 7:30-8:00am to do this.

entry to warwick farm is via gate C, get to gate C by turning of the hume hwy at sappho rd (masterton homes display village)

Cool, if we can stay in the same location, would be handy, then we can head to show together. I am happy to get up nice and early to drive short distance to show :evil3:

I know Euroford club meet there as well as the Newcastle FPV&XR Owners Club and depending on the numbers for the ACT guys, they will probabbly meet there first as well. I have seen other ford clubs use that as a meeting point also. It has a McDonalds on site as well. So good for the breaky run.

As far as I know, a group of us from the ACT looking at staying at the Sports Club again this year. We are heading up for the AFF Dyno day at Autotech on Saturday.

The General Area gives you a lot of room. It is better to be setup in that spot as you'll be able to get your Marque setup as well.

How about 0900 hours start on Saturday, nice sedate cruise up with a couple of stops should see us arrive around 1900 hours, in time for dinner.

Then leave Monday morning.

That sounds good to me mate - drive up during daylight hours on Saturday and back during daylight on Monday.

I'll try and take Friday, Monday and Tuesday off work then.

What about accomodation? Are we going to book soon?

That sporting club mentioned in this thread looks a goer, travel lodge or similiar, under cover parking a plus. Find a car wash after dinner Saturday night and leave the car under cover, have a couple of quiet ales and up ready the next morning for a big day.

I have emailed Travel lodge and asked them what is available for 11/08/07 and 12/08/07. If plenty available then I will book and advise others to do so also.
