Did anyone listen to it today . (10am to 12pm saturday)
It a 2 hour show about cars , pretty much what we talk about on here . Its hosted by mark skaife and neil crompton . My opinion of it it was not a bad show quite refreshing for me . But not enough talking the was lucky to be a 30 mins all up lot of ads and crappy pop music . there was also quite a lot of holden name dropping . An a bit negative talk on the new falcon 4clyd but in all could not call it biased yet. Because some old racer came on bragging about the old xy's saying best car he ever drove here the website http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/shows/stick-shift An here is a section about what annoys you on the road and they will talk about it next week. http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/...-shift/contact Also the said there trying to get rod barret on in the next week or two to ask him to make a new ho : |

Some old racer? That was Fred Gibson, legend! Did give Mark Skaife his start in motorsport though. :P
I thought it was a good program when I was listening, those two have a natural chemistry that works on radio as it does on TV. Missed the Mark Webber segment though.

I heard it, not bad but they pretty much glossed over everything. Very short segments and heaps of banter without much serious discussion.
I give it a C+, too much music/ad's/banter need to concentrate in class more.

I gave it a miss, thinking it was going to be rather Holden biased.
And Scaife's voice irritates me.

Didnt mind it, had it on while we were all working away. I don't mind Skaife in this role, he gets his odd bit of bias in, but so would a Ford bloke? Gover said his usual pro-Holden rubbish, he bagged the 4cyl option for the Falcon's but failed to mention they will also be turbo's
Bit of humour in there too, all in all not a bad show |
