Default premiun unleaded

Will my 1994 nc fairlane adjust too premiun unleadeds higher octane level or just run the same and waste my money? :

there is a thousand posts on this topic , Search is your friend.

But to answer your question , unless your car is tuned for a higher octane rating there is minimal to nill difference as far as power goes. However alot of the premium petrols have detergents that clean injectors and the fuel system , so thats a plus.

yeh there are a few topics like this one, but for my experience with an old car if i put normal unleaded in my car it goes though it like nothing else, and also runs like a dog. Premium unleaded gives me heaps better fuel comsumption

When My work pays for the fuel (Take the can to work, and fill up when finished with the Territory), I put Caltex Vortex 98 in my Victa. If work doesn't pay (very rarely) I use the cheapest fuel I can find.
