Great stuff, will look good finished.
Love the "Superboss" and Pappa K100 (Driptroit powered) saw it run against Waltzing Matilda back in the day.

This is a little AMT version of my truck complete with an Auslowe models VT903 kit and Dayton (spider) wheels. There is a few things wrong with the US version when doing an Oz conversion but I'll live with it.

Got a few models from Bendigo swat meet yet to build.

I was a bit bummed out this morning. To the day its a year since i last heard from my dad. He died last september and the last i heard from him was a simple text that read happy birthday. Speaking to a mate, he says breakfast is on him. I had to drive as he doesnt drive. Had a sick crepe. Whats better was it was after 10am. Nothing goes better with breakfast then beers.

Sobering, the deaths were unfortunate - yet I recognise it could have easily been much worse. And, hot on the heels of descriptions of where the CoR in heavy transport, can put people...

C.B, Everyone here in the N.E Vic knows where the CoR lays...except them.

TrVrPhiLpsiNdstrys,
What I would give to have an original 76 VIT200 K100. One of 75 of the first cabover Aerodynes built.
It a pity the AMT model is wrong, the 2 side vents do not line up on real ones, that was a later aerodyne trait and is a way of spotting an original. Interiors were not open either around the V windows up front.

Yes gold chassis, love the Superboss.
A mini Superboss display in the motorhome along with some other Kenworth stuff.

1:25 AMT kits don't travel well.

I dont mind buying tools if its something i dont have, not too disjointed if its something that has worn out, but dont like replacing tools ive lost. So today i bought a new volt stick, not unhappy with my old ones service, but at 14 years old (my kid is 4 years younger) it lost my faith as it was a tempremental old bastard, and bought a plug in tester as i lost mine. So this is why its good to have atleast 1 guy in each wholesaler you use. I got a cracker of a deal. So wholesalers make no money on tools, so retail they sting you hard. Way better off going to bunnings. Even on a trade acount, its +/- not much from the bunnings tax, so bunnings is easier. If you know a guy at a wholesaler, they'll hook you up. This is why i said to the apprentice get in good with suppliers. Sometimes your guy will do cost + gst. Thats a bit rare. Today i got cost + 5% + gst. The first question i was asked was account or for me after i asked for a price. Yeah it took old mate at the counter 30 seconds longer to do the mates rates discount. But it beats the bunnings tax by alot. Like i later explained to the apprentice later, thats what you get for treating people like people and spend the odd 2 minutes having a chin wag as opposed to walking in treating people like slaves. And for perspective, in 2006 my last volt stick was $28 after my tradesman orginised the hook up with his guy. If you factor in inflation etc, today i paid $32 for the same brand but slightly revised volt stick. Yes i could go cheaper for not the one i like, but i got the one i like. And i have a reliable indicator again. I still confirm with a contact tester, but cant complain for the price of what i like.

Yeah I like to support my main supplier. Can get better prices elsewhere but when you call them 5mins before close with some urgent gear and he drops it off to your place on the way home, worth every cent!

Mowed my lawn for the first time in a very long time and got all the weeds sorted too.

I have a very slim chance of getting out of a very stale work environment. I need a ****ing change from just keeping the lights on as well as trying to get ahead. Worst place to be as a developer.

If a long view is taken from the powers that be there should be no problem making it happen but who knows. My expectations are not high but there is a chance

Didn't happen today, but I've been down the coast for the past two odd weeks and as I run 3-4 times weekly religiously doing anywhere from 10 klm's to 6 klm's each time, I decided one morning I was ready and felt good that I would do the half marathon (21.1 Klm's).

My furthest run to date was 15 klm's so I was out to better that, and not just better it but in a certain time frame, I set myself a goal that I wanted to do the half marathon in under 2 hr's so that meant doing no more then 5:40 for each klm.
I usually run 4:40 min a K, but as I was doing a longer distance I wanted to make sure I'd complete the distance so I told myself to stay in a comfortable range around the 5:20 mark.
As I set out I was finding I was very comfortable at this pace for the first few stints and decided to ramp up the pace slightly and sat around the 5-5:20 pace a k.

Anyway long story short, I completed it with a time of 1 hr 53 min's so I was very pleased with that, considering the night before I also had a decent session and had fish and chips for tea as I am after all on holidays with the family so I was there to relax..lol.

Sure there is enough joiners on that hose.

Whenever I work on someone's property and use their hose, I like to coil them up on the ground, all shipshape and Bristol fashion. Habit from years living aboard boats.
Usually find it the next day in a tangled mess again.

Bit under nautical standards, but a day laid out in the sun helped straighten them.

And the Wasp family met Mr Pyrethrum. Results were predictable.
