Default Auto refill

Hi out there; 2006 Focus 2.0 liter automatic. I have changed the auto oil/filter, but unsure as to how much fluid should be replaced. So, can somebody tell me what the auto oil replacement should be when doing a filter change, please.

The dipstick is incredibly hard to read.....................

If possible, measure the amount of fluid you removed/drained & refill with the same amount.

If it is an LS Focus with the 4F27E transmission then the capacity is 6.7 litres of transmission fluid to WSS-M2C202-B specification.

Would that be a dry fill ? , so no oil in the TC and then you have the cooler to worry about as well - best read the dip stick

I would presume that would be a dry fill. The dipstick in the trans is almost impossible to read. I put 2 1/2 liters of fluid in and it shows full. The next day, dipstick is dry. Put in 1/2 liter, shows over full. Repeat............

Yeah, I forgot to do that...............
