Just ask your Dealer. They will know.

Yeah... ask your dealer. My dealer was even able to tell me when my Dawn Blue LX manual would be built!! Although I went for the white. hehe

I am waiting on a manual Zetec.
I have asked my dealer but he is unable to tell me when the boat is due. He is confident it left South Africa just this past Wednesday(ish). So I was just curious if someone else is waiting for the next load and has been informed when it is supposed to be getting here.

It will take approximately 2 weeks for a freighter to get from South Africa to Melbourne or Sydney assuming they travel at about 25-30knots which I think is what they would be going at.

I'm waiting on a manual LX... 4 weeks and counting!!

I was told on Monday it was still waiting for a boat then it would be another 10 days to 2 weeks. Was also told as soon as it was on a boat they would confirm a definite delivery time... hope your dealer wasn't pulling your chain!

Could have rowed it here by now!

The way Ford dealers check on delivery and build dates is through a internal computer system. You need the cars SIDO number, which is an 8 digit number all vehicles get assigned. If any of you have your SIDO number send me a PM and I can check if there is an arrival date or not. Ill try and respond asap, I only come on here every couple of days.

I know that our XR5 is at the dock but there is no arrival date yet, so if your dealer hasnt been able to give you a delivery date then he isnt fobbing you off its more likley that one isnt avaliable yet.

If any of you guys have questions please send me a PM and ill see if i can help, i work at a Ford Dealer in country Vic.
