Default Forum Layout

Hi there

Has AFF forum layout changed a little or its it just my settings? Ive just noticed for example if I want to reply to post imstead of a little box down the bottom saying reply or quote it has it written in fully eg"reply to post" or "post quick reply" the smiles instead of the pictures of smiles are now written in full eg"Yelrotflamo" also on left of threads that ive replied too it shows how many times ive replied to a thread etc. I like the old settings/format is there a way to have my old settings returned?

Thanks for your reply well it sounds like it may just be my settings. Anyone able to advise me of a fix. Also I just notice that Sponsors banner doesnt show me any AFF sponsors business logo's.

To quote a famous line from The IT Crowd:

"Have you tried turning it off and back on again?"

Step you through the process? I reckon I could do that

Step 1 - Click this link - http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...h&promoid=BIOW

Step 2 - Agree to the terms of service by clicking in the little square that says that you accept them.

Step 3 - Click the big "Install Now" button.

Hope this is of some help to you, there's a bit more support and stuff on the site I've linked if you need it.

Thanks - no joy at this stage as I already have latest versions installed, I tried it any way but still same issue as my post1.

I am just throwing this out there as dumb as it may seem but have you done any cleaning to your computer lately.

I found when mine does some weird stuff I just defrag it then do the clean of the file thingo (is it called a cache or something, can't remember, it pops up there anyway and you just click it).

But if I were you I would probably also run your virus thing manually or go to that free one online trend something or other. As it could be virus related (maybe someone a little more computer literate than me would be better making suggestions, sorry)...

Or if all else fails do what I do, ring someone to fix it. I have the computer tech on speed dial : (helps that he is also a mate I suppose)..

Good luck

I'm a bit stumped now.

I'm not usually good at troubleshooting or giving advice over the phone unless its simple, I'm a bit more hands on.

But - can I ask what browser you use - Internet Explorer or Firefox? Either way, have you tried the other browser to see how it appears and such?

www.getfirefox.com is the best address to grab firefox from if my memory serves me correctly.
