Not sure if it's been posted or not, but , Just wondering if anyone is using the new E85 fuel ? Thinking about running it in my clevo , but want to be sure it's safe first ..

I think its not good for rubber fuel lines and associated fuel system parts.
Might need a few compatible parts for it, but when set up and tuned for E85 then you shouldn't have any problems. |

Anyone using it commented yet?Apart from a few minor changes on a old car it fine to use.The biggest issue people will have is setting the carb up and thats not a mountain of ahurdle.Efi is so easy its not funny.Better metal fuel filter and larger capacity fuel system along with a compatent tuner/setup. Its not like you need to run it all the time.Once you feel the extra torque it produces you ont want to run 98/100 at the track. |

As long as your fuel system has been modified accordingly and you have local access to the good E85 not the cheap stuff its killer. My boss picked up 40rwkw in his 13bt by switching to E85 (240rwkw-280rwkw)

you don't need teflon lines. we have used Speedflow 100-series for nearly 2 years, i know alot of guys in the US running similar for 3 times longer without any problems.

Been using a blend of E85/eflex and 98 on my car on every tank for the past year and a half and have had no issues. Better power, cheaper to per tank and I get about 420km out of a tank in city traffic. Not the best consumption by any means but not bad either.
All I have is 36lb injectors, walbro 255 pump, stock lines, metal fuel filter and a good tuner.
