Default One Hd

For all of you non city slickers in sunny QLD (home of the state of origin trophy) ONE HD aka Southern Cross 10 HD or Ch 50 starts tonight and although there seems to be a lot of baseball and other weird things it has TWO very good attributes.

1) No Soccer, none, nada, zilch, bugger all, it is a soccer free zone....

2) LOTS of motor racing and other motorsports including NASCAR, F1, drift, drag and lots of others.

http://ten.com.au/hdtvguide_search.htm

P.S. The reason this is in the PUB not BAR is it is about MOTOR SPORTS (if it were about soccer I would have posted it in /dev/null )

It's about time too. Although I wish they still had HD programs of normal shows as well.

My only problem with One, is the sport that has two good attributes (netball), is on way to often. Apart from that it's Motorsport coverage is great.

My wife loves the netball, being a netballer herself. I don't mind watching it, although some of the large Maori women from the NZ teams can be a bit... daunting.

Watch the Slamball if you get a chance. An interesting sport...

Wait until the World Cup Flappist. Then we'll see some soccer.

I doubt it highly, not even SBS broadcast the qualifiers. It will all be on Fox I reckon.

The round at infineon is good. But that's where they find out the car turns the other way.

At least they tend to pass one another reasonably frequently.

Good to see more motorsports being shown. Now I really have to get another telly to watch it all.
