Default Quieter Tyre?

Hello Everyone

Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Potenza S03 (205/50R17) as replacement to the stock Goodyears? Are the bridgestones quieter? I know the stock Goodyear’s tyre roar is a constant audio companion over country roads and will be looking into a quieter tyre when the stock tyres wear out. Also wish to stick to the legal tyre size to avoid any issues with Insurance.

By the way…. How much mileage can you get out of the stock Goodyears? 40,000 kms?

Zetec manual

I got 45,000km out of my Goodyears on an '02 LR Zetec. Now have Michelin Pilot Preceda. Next tyre will be Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.
