look guys i'm thinkin of puttin on a sport steerin wheel on my 99' AU s1 and just want to know how much work is involved in it. what can i do with the cruise control buttons to keep it working, i'm not worried about the stereo one cause they don't won't with my head unit. any info anyone can give me will help so thanks in advance

It is not hard, but wouldnt say it is easy. If you got the tools then go for it. What kind of steering wheel are you talking about? A momo one?

easiest seap over is getting a MOMO wheel suited to the EF/EL/AU Falcon ... as they use the same centres. Also to suit the airbag.

Check out ebay, as said above the momo ones will be a straight swap and your airbag and cruise/radio buttons will stay, there's also another type out there (SVO sell them among others) that will be a straight swap and accept the airbag etc too. They're around 200 bucks, momo's probably a little bit more these days. Good luck.
