Default Blundell Ford Museum

Today I had a look at the new(ish) Blundell Ford Museum at Mareeba, 1 hour west of Cairns, North Queensland.

It is a collection of 70 odd Ford cars and old tractors, again mainly Fords.
They have a restored XK and a never registered FGX V8 Sprint behind glass in the main airconditioned building, with Ford merchandise and memorabilia, and also a small cafe.
Outside are another few large sheds with cars and tractors in them.
Outside in the weather are more cars awaiting restoration.

Some are fully restored and some are in progress...the restored ones are mainly the 60's era Falcons, several E, AU and B series are awaiting restoration. Bit of a gap in 70's and 80's Falcons range but they aim to get one of each model.

It is a family run thing by a dad and his son, only been open a few months.
There is more to the story of why the museum started if you want to google.

If you are around Mareeba it is worth a couple of hours.
