Default One of Many Questions Part 1. -=Doorhandles=-

Hey guys,

After the EA was violated (http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=78247) Im looking at Doors handles as my first port of call.

Now the lil pricks busted the locking mechanism and door handle with a screwdriver to gain access to the car. So i need a replacements

The question is do later model ( EF/EL) fit with... encouragement? I like the shape of those.

I am presuming the EB-ED handles fit straight on. How Hard is it to get the doorhandles painted to match??

Cheers Nicko

EF/EL will fit straight in, but the shape is a little different so if the paint under the EA-ED handles is not so good you will see it.

Painting is easy, any spray painter will do it, just dont fall over at a paint only cost of $50 per handle. Otherwise do it yourself, not all that hard.

yeah its blooy expensice for door handles to be painted, just use a pressure pack can and a flameproof clear, also make sure you use plastic primer.
