You should really think before posting this stuff.

For a start, there are certain people associated with the Summernats that do come to these forum.

haha,
listen to you all saying you've never 'borrowed' a copy of a DVD or software.

Yep thats me TIGHT ****, and there wouldn't be many here who havent done the same thing with som other form of media, video, music recording, other. and if I am unable to procure a copy at a reduced cost I will go without, and as for the Summernats people I am not sure but I think a private company does the DVD and I would be more willing to part with my $60+ if it didn't have some half arsed amateur actors trying to be funny on. I don't mind the advertising on it but more time could have been spent showing the cars instead of crap actors. Last years had a sound fault on it which meant they had to replace most of them free of charge. This year I wasn't willing to part with that much of my hard earned cash only to be disapointed three times in a row but thought I could compensate someone for some time spent thus reducing their initial outlay for maybe a disapointing product. Don't get me wrong I loved the cars just not the other crap

You obviously need it spelt out in black and white.

Big_Pete, this has nothing to do with who has, or hasn't done whatever. Think outside the square.

*cough* yes I am associated with Summernats.. enough said.

If you really want to get your hands on a cheap look, get yourself to a video outlet and hire it.

I buy dvd's and music, I don't steal them.. If a company has paid to produce them and I am interested in seeing/listening to their product, I do not begrudge handing over the cash.

You might see me on the dvd. Ive been on a few of them over the years.

In my opinion, if you are interested enough to be hiring it to burn, you are interested enough to want to own (buy) a copy. If you just want to watch it once, then hire it. If you think you might watch it a few times, buy it.

I was, without being too up front about it, including myself in that. I am a senior scrutineer, and former burnout judge, fire marshall, etc.

And above all else have known Chic for about 20 years, and don't want to be seen to be condoning this stuff, not to mention causing any grief for AFF.

And just as I suspected a quick ring around the local video outlets and no one has a copy and the most recent one kept by any of them is BH9.

I have an idea who you are

I'm the big guy, with a gray goatee, everyone calls to resolve disputes between scrutineers and entrants
