Default I need help choosing a song!

Friends of mine are getting married soon and the groom to be has asked me to choose a couple of songs to play for when comes time to throw the garter. I have no idea what songs to choose, most of mine are too x-rated lol.

Help me out here

Hmmm I've never heard the song "get ya mind out of the gutter Kirssy" Who sings that Brad _

I punched in 'love songs' and there's about 3164386453123153 songs to choose from.

Great! :

i think it's a George Michael song.

A raunchy song that always pops to mind is that one for the Full Monty. Can't quite remember the name

Well for the garter bit, it has to be raunchy or sexy

The traditional strippers's song is a goody, don't know what it's called though, does anyone know that piece of music (come on people, you know the one - there are no words in it)!

Barry White - Can't get enough of your love
Beyonce - Naughty Girl
Nitty - Nasty Girl
Christina Aguilera - Dirty
Destiny's Child - Bootylicious
From the Full Monty, go for Hot Stuff (can't remember who it's by)

Or if they want sappy lovey dovey stuff, try Diana Krawl - Say a little prayer, or Ella Fitzgerald - At Last

If you want really naughty, go for DJ Alligator - The Whistle Song, Ginuwine - Pony, George Michael - Freak or I want your sex - OR FOR EXTREMELY X RATED try Khia - Lick it (uncensored). Woah I can just imagine Great Grandma Elsie clapping along to that, or worse, SINGING ALONG!

Of course these are suggestions only! Hehehehehe

Donna Summer [shakes head]. You're too corrupted by rip offs (Bootylicious), and sampling demos disguised as rap songs.

Now that one I like, that's the best suggestion so far. :voldar02:

I love it!
We are having a NIN song played at out wedding, probably as I walk down the isle.
However, I don't think Closer would cut it!!!

For the garter I reckon something sexy is the way to go.
There have been some great suggestions so far...

Yeah im gonna agree with Closer ;)

or do ya think im sexy? The Revolting Cocks version is probably the best (edit: in the same way that closer wouldnt work :P)... but you could use the Rod stewart version as well...

The guy that sells the singlets (aka wife beater's) on this website http://www.wife-beaters.com/ has that song on his website as the theme lol.

***Disclosure - I do not endorse wife beating. Most of my friends will tell you that it'd prob be my g/f that beats on me rather than her haha ****

Back on topic -

Do you care for Mariah Carey's - Vision of Love as a track ???

Yeah that's who it was! lol Yes you are right about being corrupted, but I love shakin my butt, so sometimes dance, r&b and rap "songs" win out.

Although the recent spate of so-called Artists who remake songs is quite incredible... my kids shook their heads in wonder when I knew all the words to the newest version of Summer Rain

OH another one I thought of - Faithless - If loving you is wrong (types Bindi, hoping that's the actual name of the song!).

If you like alternative, Red Hot Chili Peppers either Sir Psycho Sexy or Purple Stain. Otherwise, what about You Can Leave Your Hat On by Joe Cocker.
