When the vehicle stalls, does the engine still crank? If cranks and no start, check for spark and fuel supply for starters.
Sounds like a distributor module/coil pack (cant remember if XH had dizzy or coil pack) on face value.. |

TFI module is a common fault when the engine is warm/hot.
