Default Trip Computer

People,
Has anybody fitted a trip computer out of a Fairmont into a Series 3 XR6.
I used to have an ED and I think it had a spot there that the computer slipped straight into, wiring was all there as well.
Cheers,
Scott

The trip computer & A/C is intergrated into one unit on AU & requires a different dash panel.

Given that he won't have the correct dash panel, wiring loom etc, I think that's the least of his concerns.
